The Nehemiah Collective exists to strengthen communities through civic education, informed participation, accountability, and collective responsibility. Inspired by Nehemiah’s example of first examining what was broken before organizing the people to rebuild, we believe meaningful change begins when citizens understand the systems, offices, decisions, and institutions that shape their communities. Our mission is not to tell people who to vote for or what to think. Our purpose is to equip you.

We are residents of the 30th and 45th wards on the Northside of Chicago who help each other research school board candidates, judges, and ballot initiatives so no one has to figure it out alone.
