In order to achieve a just and lasting peace between Palestinians and Israelis, we must address the root causes. Israel must end its military rule over the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip; dismantle all policies and practices that discriminate against Palestinians; and finally allow Palestinian refugees to exercise their long-denied right of return to their homes and lands.
The solution is, and always has been, simple and obvious: freedom. Together, we can take action to ensure that there is true safety and peace for all. US policy should reflect these values.
IMEU Policy Project works to educate elected officials, policy-makers, and voters, and advocate in Congress and the Executive Branch for US policies that advance Palestinian rights and freedom. We operate from anti-racist principles and strongly reject all forms of bigotry and hatred. We work with movements and candidates who are aligned with our values.
IMEU Policy Project is a 501(c)(4) organization affiliated with the Institute for Middle East Understanding (IMEU). IMEU was founded in 2005 by a group of concerned Americans who want to foster an increased understanding among Americans about Palestine and the Palestinians.

Electing champions of Palestinian freedom and justice is how we turn our values into political power. In the face of genocide, oppression, and displacement, we need leaders who will fight for Palestinian rights, dignity, safety, and self-determination. Every informed choice helps hold decision-makers accountable and demand policies rooted in freedom and justice for all.
