Aboagye’s banger of a response to our questionnaire makes it clear that he’s a believer in and fighter for GGWash’s priorities: “I want 6A on record for that early and often. 210 homes would not strain this neighborhood. It would barely begin replacing the pipeline we lost, and it is the most durable fix for the vacancy that is strangling H Street.” Aboagye recognizes that a thriving neighborhood is one that is built for people rather than cars, and supports dense, accessible development along with better conditions for transit, walking, and biking.”
The 6A06 race, which has four candidates, will be decided by a ranked-choice ballot. We endorse Aboagye, and recommend ranking Chris Kennedy second; Ray Biggs, II, third; and incumbent Ben Hammer fourth.
