Sway members texting voters for Mitchell Calhoun
Calhoun is running to represent a single-member district that’s already mostly multifamily housing, but he’d still like it to be easier to build more nearby. He aims “to increase residential (both affordable and market-rate) housing in ANC 6D on repurposed federal land and promote equitable development should that land become available and advocate for any new development there be pedestrian and bike-focused with public transportation support.” We’re on board with that vision. His experience as board president of his housing cooperative is great training for the work he’ll take on as commissioner. Calhoun deserves your vote.
