Colorado General Election
Amendment 87: Establish Graduated Income Tax and Dedicate New Revenue to Education, Healthcare, and Childcare Initiative
The graduated income tax would lower taxes for 97% of Coloradans.
Proposition 132: Penalties for Fentanyl Sale and Possession Initiative
Fentanyl is already illegal. Prop 132 would send $440 million to the private corporations that own prisons. That is money in our state budget that could be spent much more wisely.
Proposition 134: Sex Requirement for School and College Sports Initiative
Under Prop 134, participation in K-12 school sports would be "determined by certain aspects of their biological reproductive system". Any language that suggests a genital examination of school children is wildly inappropriate.
