Ida Keeley is an Independent Democrat running for the open seat in the 39th Legislative District, following Rep. Carolyn Eslick's retirement. Drawing on her own experience in an unstable home environment, Keeley dedicated her career to improving child welfare, juvenile justice, and public service. She was a founding team member at Dawson's Place Child Advocacy Center, supporting child victims of abuse.
Keeley is running a well-rounded and forward-thinking campaign focused on affordability, safety, and education. She is an advocate for fully funding education, veterans support, and accountable public safety services. While her campaign could benefit from more specific policy proposals, we believe she is the right choice in this race.
Ida Keeley is a versatile candidate with experience rooted in public service and advocating for her communities. She has earned your vote to represent the 39th Legislative District in the state House.
