Thomas Peterson
Thomas Peterson has represented Utah House District 1, covering parts of Box Elder and Cache counties, since 2022. A former State of Utah building official, he has chaired the Uniform Building Code Commission and served on the board of the International Code Council.

Sheriff Chad Jensen joined the Cache County Sheriff's Office in 1992 and has worked, supervised and commanded in every division, including 20 years with the SWAT team. He was sworn in as the twentieth Sheriff of Cache County on January 5, 2015, and is seeking re-election.
