Camillus Town Councilor - Ward 1

Mary H. Luber
I have been a resident of Camillus for 51 years and am a graduate of West Genesee High School. I recently retired from the Onondaga County Board of Elections where I managed personnel, fiscal matters, and various election day activities.
Throughout my time in the community, I have served on the West Genesee School District Strategic Planning Committee, the Respect & Responsibility Committee, and the Shared Decision Making Committee. I also served as the Parents as Reading Partners Chairperson, District Council President, and PTA President at Stonehenge Elementary School. Additionally, as the former President of The Friends of Camillus Park, I worked hand in hand with the Town of Camillus Parks and Recreation Department to revitalize the park.
Currently, I serve on the Camillus Town Board for the First Ward. As a Town Councilor, I have served on various committees, most recently the Town of Camillus Comprehensive Plan-a joint venture with the Village of Camillus. I am also a graduate of the Camillus Citizen Police Academy.
I believe I have the qualifications to continue as the First Ward Councilor for the Town of Camillus. My life experiences have taught me to listen to others, reflect on the situations presented to me, and seek out diverse points of view. I ask for your support so that I may continue the tradition of excellence provided by past and present Town Councilors. I know that I can be a positive force to ensure that the Town of Camillus continues to thrive.
