She has served at the Federal Communications Commission, as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, and as an Administrative Law Judge, bringing firsthand experience in public safety, constitutional accountability, and government operations. A bilingual advocate committed to service, Denise has also worked in education, disaster response, and support programs for vulnerable communities. She is running for Congress to restore accountability, fiscal responsibility, and results-driven leadership to Washington, D.C.

Manuel Rivera
D.C. Attorney General Manuel Rivera is a prominent Washington D.C. attorney, community advocate, and small business owner with nearly 40 years of legal experience. As founder of his law firm, he has represented clients in immigration, workers’ rights, and family law matters, focusing on issues affecting everyday residents. He has also dedicated significant time to pro bono work and community service, supporting immigrants, working families, and civil rights organizations. Admitted to state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, Rivera has built his career on advocating for fairness and accountability. He believes the law should serve everyone equally and, as Attorney General, aims to uphold justice with independence, protect residents from exploitation, and hold powerful interests accountable.

Darrell Green is a lifelong resident of Washington, D.C., retired Metropolitan Police Department officer, and small business owner dedicated to serving his community. A husband and father, Darrell spent years protecting District neighborhoods through his service with MPD and later co-owned the Adams Mill Bar in Adams Morgan, giving him firsthand experience with both public safety and local business issues. His commitment to the city continues through his advocacy for safer communities, stronger neighborhoods, and practical leadership focused on residents’ everyday concerns.

Abi-Ananiah Prudent is a community advocate, nonprofit leader, and grassroots organizer committed to strengthening families, supporting safe neighborhoods, and improving how local government serves residents. With experience in community engagement, volunteer mobilization, and coalition building, she has worked to connect organizations and residents to create lasting impact across communities. Abi is running for City Council Chair to bring practical solutions, accountable leadership, and a resident-first approach to Washington, D.C. government.

Jeffrey Kihien is a business leader, attorney, and community advocate with deep roots in Washington, D.C.’s Ward 5 community. A Peruvian immigrant and longtime Ward 5 resident, Jeffrey has spent over 15 years leading G & K Management LLC and brings extensive experience in international business, finance, and economic development. He is also committed to humanitarian service through initiatives supporting people with disabilities in underserved communities. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Jeffrey combines global expertise with a strong local commitment to strengthening neighborhoods, supporting economic opportunity, and serving Ward 5 residents.

Dr. Jorge Rice is a public servant, conflict resolution expert, and longtime Ward 6 resident in Washington, D.C.. With more than a decade of experience in federal government service, Dr. Rice has led Equal Employment Opportunity investigations, mediations, and dispute resolution efforts focused on fairness, accountability, and effective problem-solving. Holding a doctorate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, he brings both academic expertise and real-world experience to addressing community challenges. Dr. Rice is running for Ward 6 Council to provide collaborative leadership focused on listening to residents, resolving issues, and delivering results for the community.
