My core political base of values can best be described as that of a Bernie Sanders Democrat. I look for candidates who champion environmental issues, support the unhoused, and are willing to speak openly about taxing the rich. I urge voters to examine what candidates have publicly fought for in the past and choose those who genuinely share our community's values.
