As a child survivor of the Congolese genocide, Espoir Ngabo came to Houston as a refugee at 5 years old. Today he's a IT analyst and community advocate. He's running for Congress to fight for justice and human rights in Texas and around the world. The Green Party isn't afraid to speak truth to power, and neither is Espoir. After seeing the Democratic Party step on the will of the voters in election after election, and witnessing the self serving corruption of Democrats like Henry Cuellar, Marlón knew that he had to run as a Green. The Green Party is the only party with ballot access in Texas that doesn't take any corporate PAC money! This guarantees that the Green Party will NEVER betray working people, and always put our interests first.

With a background in military service and activism, Greg knows how to listen to listen to constituents and advocate for their needs. Greg chose to run with the Green Party because politics as usual, where both establishment parties are owned by the same donor class, is no longer sustainable for most Americans. Both parties need to feel some pressure from a candidate who says NO to AIPAC and other special interests.

Shehla Faizi is running for Comptroller to expose the fact that Texan tax dollars are funding overseas wars and enriching billionaires. She wants to change that, to make sure that Texans' taxes and state investments work for the people! Shehla chose to run as a Green Party candidate because she lost faith in the two party system after seeing how both Republicans and Democrats are so heavily funded by AIPAC money that they are both willing to turn a blind-eye to genocide. Shehla produces and hosts her own podcast as an outlet for her love for socio-political discussions. In her free time she enjoys reading, illustrating and archery.
