Delaware General Election
Delaware Auditor of Accounts
Austin Cassidy
A Wilmington homeowner, husband, and father of twin boys, Austin is running to make the Auditor's office genuinely independent of the political machinery it is supposed to watch over. His campaign is centered on the principle that accountability should not depend on which party holds the office. Cassidy is a market analyst who works with small business owners daily and is a longtime advocate for political reform. He was elected to a four-year term as a Conservation District Supervisor, where his colleagues selected him as Treasurer and later as Chairman, and he currently serves as Treasurer of a Pennsylvania nonprofit. Austin and his family are involved members of The Church of the Holy City in Wilmington, where he is the Building and Community Manager.

Delaware State Senate - District 5
Carolyn Frank
Carolyn Frank knows our state. Born in Wilmington, Carolyn has spent her life working, learning, and helping people across New Castle County. She attended the Brandywine School District (BSD) and graduated from the University of Delaware and Delaware Technical Community College with a degree in Nursing. Through Carolyn's experience in nursing and respite care, she realized the large health disparities in our state. She believes many of these issues are due to poor spending choices by the state. Homebound patients and those living with chronic illness deserve simple access to care. Carolyn wants better for Delawareans, and better investments in their health. As a former student of Forwood Elementary, P.S. duPont Elementary, Hanby Middle, and Concord High, Carolyn is prepared to prioritize the needs of students, teachers, and parents. Proper redistricting, education standards, and building safety are crucial for students' success in school. Expanded Pre-K and childcare are also needed to help our parents and students enter the school system with ease. Carolyn is committed to improving the quality of education for all students in Delaware and District 5, regardless of income or zip code. Over the years, Carolyn has held the same jobs as many Delawareans. She knows the food industry, retail industry, home care nursing and hospital systems of our state. Carolyn understands the economic disparities between the working class and those who make millions or billions from the First State and intends to rectify these disparities through legislation that prioritizes real, working people. Carolyn's roots are in Wilmington, in District 5, and so are her ideas and plans for its future. She has been your lifeguard, your server, and your nurse. Her vision for Delaware's schools, healthcare system, and improved quality of life comes from her commitment to the success of the state and her desire to contribute to helping her community. Let's be Frank and vote for a hard-working Delawarean who wants her state's decisions to come from the people who build it each day. Vote Carolyn Frank for District 5.
Delaware House of Representatives - District 3
Dexter Bland
Dexter “Dizzy” Bland is a Delaware community advocate, businessman, and independent voice for working people. He is running for State Representative in District 3 because he believes government should serve the people directly - not party machines, insiders, or special interests. Rooted in lived experience and community connection, Dexter brings a people-first approach to public service. He believes leadership means being present, listening to residents, and turning real neighborhood concerns into real policy action. His campaign is focused on restoring trust, improving quality of life, and making sure District 3 families are seen, heard, and fought for. As a business owner, he has created opportunities by hiring directly from the community, keeping resources and income circulating locally. He is also an experienced event organizer, bringing people together through community-driven events that build unity, visibility, and engagement. A proud Wilmingtonian, Howard High School & Public Allies alum, Dexter has developed leadership skills grounded in service, collaboration, and social impact. His experience includes hands-on outreach, connecting residents to resources, and working alongside organizations focused on improving everyday conditions for families in Wilmington and beyond. Rather than leading from a distance, Dexter’s approach has always been direct and people-centered - showing up, building relationships, and taking action where it matters most.
