Florida General Election
Orange County Mayor

Chris Messina
Messina is a tech entrepreneur and the 2022 runner-up, running again as the sole serious GOP-aligned candidate in this forced-NPA field. Unofficially, he’s one of the two names still standing. Public trail we opened — chrismessina.com, Ballotpedia platform quotes, campaign Instagram, Conservative Ministers of Orange County, the Orange County Republican Party / Assembly, local profiles.
Christian 38 rests on public faith in Jesus Christ and a calling to serve: children’s ministry and Shine Special Needs Ministry; a child at an Orange County Christian school where he coaches football; sanctity of life from conception to natural death; support for crisis pregnancy centers; opposition to targeted abortion of babies diagnosed with disabilities; and work with faith leaders. That’s a Jesus-named county-executive campaign, not a generic “values” sticker.
Constitution 32 rests on free-enterprise county management, property-tax and growth discipline, and a documented anti-mandate record: opposed forced masking, mandatory medical procedures, and church / school / playground closures. GOP 19 (not 20) is deliberate: strong Republican-aligned vehicle plus OCRP / Assembly endorsement, but the office cannot print an R.
Badges: Trump + DeSantis + Musk + MAHA. Trump here is MAGA-friendly base support and the Republican Party / Assembly endorsement — not a personal presidential endorsement for mayor. DeSantis is free-state Florida priorities at county level versus the progressive status quo. Musk is the tech / anti-bloat profile. MAHA is the health-freedom and child-safety messaging, which also feeds the Constitution bar. Badge rules: callout badges explained.
Walton County Commission - District 2

Warren Whitaker
Warren Whitaker (R) 7 / 22 / 16 · Grade B. On the November 3, 2026 general ballot. Campaign warrenwhitaker.com /priorities: Faithful Christian plus Live Oak Baptist without Jesus-as-Lord — leftover 30 is gone. Roads Before Roofs; public ledger / forensic-audit / millage. GOP 16 from the 60 percent closed primary; no WCREC D2 tile, so not 20. We will not invent a numbered November opponent.
Walton County Commission - District 4

Jim Bagby
Also a closed Republican primary, not a UPC. Jim Bagby (R) 7 / 22 / 17 · Grade B is on November 3 versus write-ins Frederick Carley and Dan Matacchiero (not numbered). ENR: Bagby 4,979 / 37.794 percent. Calkins 34.99 percent and Johns 27.21 percent lost August 18. Good Christian Republican plus Resurrection Catholic lector/EM without Jesus-as-Lord is 7, not leftover 29.
