Nick Manganaro is running for Congress because he believes America is at a defining crossroads. Inspired by the principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, Nick is committed to protecting individual freedom while confronting one of the greatest challenges facing the country: an unsustainable federal debt. That commitment is personal. Nick is a descendant of Robert Morris, a signer of both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Morris risked his life and fortune for the American Revolution, but later suffered financial ruin—a family history that has shaped Nick’s belief in both the promise of the American experiment and the importance of fiscal responsibility. Nick believes Washington must stop spending beyond its means, beginning with eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse in federal programs and demanding greater accountability from government agencies. He supports reforms that ensure taxpayer-funded benefits are reserved for those who legitimately qualify and that federal programs remain sustainable for future generations. Nick is running to bring fiscal discipline and accountability back to Washington, preserve individual liberty, and help ensure the American Republic remains strong for generations to come.

Martina, a financial advisor and lifelong resident of Northeast Philadelphia, was first elected on March 24, 2015 in a special election to fill an open seat in the 170th District. She became the first new Republican elected in Philadelphia in 25 years. The 170th District includes the neighborhoods of Parkwood, Somerton and parts of Millbrook, Morrell and Chalfont within Philadelphia. Martina has worked on various issues and delivered increased funding for school and the EITC program, public safety including concurrent jurisdiction for illegal firearm crimes as well as the impeachment of the Philadelphia District Attorney and increasing services for our seniors. Martina served as the Secretary of the House Republican Caucus for two consecutive sessions and now serves as the Caucus Chairwoman. Additionally, she serves on the SEPTA Board, has chaired the House Republican House Transportation Infrastructure Committee and the Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) Task Force. As a financial advisor, Martina guided families and small business owners on how to best accomplish their financial goals. There, she saw the challenges of raising children and dealing with the high cost of education and health care which helped inspire her to seek office to assist working families across the Commonwealth. The first member of her immediate family to graduate from college, Martina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College.

For 35 years, families in Northeast Philadelphia knew Bill Griffin as the teacher and principal who cared about their kids. At Austin Meehan Middle School, Kennedy Crossan Elementary School, John Hancock Elementary Demonstration School and General J. Harry LaBrum Middle School, he worked to create classrooms where students could grow and learn, and where parents felt heard and respected. Families trusted Bill because he was fair, steady, and always showed up for the community. After retiring from the School District, Bill didn’t slow down. Today he serves families as a licensed real estate agent, guiding them through home sales, purchases, and big decisions. And when schools need a trusted leader, Bill still answers the call as a substitute principal. Bill and his wife, Dawn, raised their family here. They understand the pressures families face today—from safety and stability to rising prices and higher costs impacting seniors and working parents. Now a grandfather of seven, Bill wants to make sure the next generation can grow up in a community that is safe, affordable, and full of opportunity. Bill isn’t a career politician; he’s a neighbor who listens and solves problems. He believes government should make life easier, not harder, and focus on the basics families care about most: safe blocks, good schools, reliable health care, and a fair shot for seniors and working families. As State Representative, Bill will put people before politics and fight for practical solutions that make everyday life better for Northeast Philadelphia.

Robyn Lee Bird personifies Port Richmond and the rowhouse neighborhoods of the River Wards. Four generations in the same Port Richmond rowhouse. A family that came from Poland through Ellis Island and never stopped serving—from World War I and Omaha Beach to Iraq and today’s firehouses, service runs deep in Robyn’s blood. Like too many families in our community, Robyn faced devastating loss at an early age. At just 15 years old, she lost her father to the heroin crisis. That hardship shaped her life and taught her a lasting truth of the River Wards: we take care of our own.

Tiffany Vann was raised in West Philadelphia without the benefit of connections or privilege, but she never let that define her path. She attended public schools and the Community College of Philadelphia, then went on to create opportunities for herself that might not have otherwise been accessible. A dedicated community leader and family oriented individual, Tiffany comes from a middle-class background and knows firsthand the value of hard work. She understands that not everyone has the same resources to get ahead, which is why she is running to expand opportunities for residents, support local small businesses, and ensure that communities thrive together through unity rather than division.
