Indiana General Election
U.S. House Indiana District 4

Drew Cox
Born and raised in Indiana, Drew is the son of a dedicated elementary school teacher with 35 years of service and a fourth-generation farmer. In 2012 he was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. After completing his military service, he used the GI Bill to pursue higher education at Indiana University and went on to earn a doctorate in music from the University of Illinois. Drew currently serves as a Visiting Instructor at Purdue University and remains actively involved in his community. He is a proud member of the local Marine Corps League and American Legion Post 11. Drew also performs as a percussionist with both the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and the Lafayette Citizens Band. In his spare time, Drew recently completed an Associate's of Applied Science in Energy Technology from Ivy Tech Community College. This program deepened his understanding of energy consumption, production, and cost—knowledge he values as incredibly valuable for everyday Hoosiers.
Indiana Secretary of State
Beau Bayh
Beau Bayh is a seventh-generation Hoosier who was raised to believe public service means actually serving the public — not yourself. For Beau, that meant joining the United States Marine Corps. He served as an Infantry Officer, where he rose to the rank of Captain. Following his honorable discharge in 2023, Beau earned a law degree. Following graduation, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk in Bloomington for the Honorable David F. Hamilton on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, gaining valuable experience in election law and securities fraud cases. Throughout his career, Beau has been guided by the lessons he learned as a Marine: when facing tough fights, you run toward them, not away from them. That’s how he’ll approach the job of Secretary of State. He’ll immediately clean up the corruption and wasteful spending that has brought so much shame to that office. He’ll also fight to keep our elections secure, free, and fair while working every day to increase voter participation in our state.

Indiana House of Representatives - District 44

Kelsey Kauffman
I'm running for Indiana House District 44 because voters who oppose the most extreme policies deserve a voice and a name on the ballot that reflects their values. While I know the odds are steep in a district that voted 75% for Trump, I believe it's worth standing up—out loud and on the record—for core values like due process, compassion, and protecting the most vulnerable members of our communities. This campaign is about policies and consequences, not personal attacks. I'm running to give Hoosiers concerned about the direction of our state and country a way to register that concern clearly and publicly. Whether you want to volunteer, share your thoughts, or simply stay informed, I welcome your voice in this conversation. - Kelsey Kauffman, Candidate for Indiana House District 44

Putnam County Council - District 1
Chuck Spears
My name is Chuck Spears and I’m on the ballot in November running as a Democrat for Putnam County Council First District. My wife Tammy and I are empty nesters residing at Heritage Lake, having lived there for the past 8 years. Prior we lived in Plainfield for 25 years and our two children graduated through Plainfield Community Schools. I work at Allison Transmission in Speedway as a Skilled Assembler and am in my 15th year of employment there. Also I’m currently serving in my second term on the U.A.W Local 933 Election Committee. As a County Council member I’ll help decide how resources are allocated, determine county budget and approve funding for essential services. I care about how tax dollars are spent and what things get priority, how and why. I ask you your support at the ballot box in November.

Putnam County Council - District 3
Nicholas Heck
Nicholas Heck is a graduate of Owen Valley High School and is running for Putnam County Council, District 3. Heck completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Montana; he's lived and worked in Greencastle since 2018. Nick grew up helping his dad bale hay in the summers and started working at a golf course when he was in the 5th grade. His father was a farmer and public school teacher; his paternal grandfather was a WWII Veteran, who spent several years in the South Pacific before returning home to marry Nick's grandmother and together they owned and operated a small grocery store near Ft. Wayne. In 1981, Nick's mother established a dental practice in Gosport, where she continues to work. Nick is running for County Council to ensure that his values of hard work, stewardship, and conservation of resources are put into action for the betterment of Putnam County.
Putnam County Council - District 4
Craig Allison
Craig Allison is a candidate for Putnam County Council, District 4. A longtime Greencastle resident who has called Putnam County home since 2010, he brings deep roots in North Central Indiana, a strong record of leadership in labor and workforce, and a consistent commitment to community service. Raised in Jasper County, Craig is a graduate of Tri-County High School in Wolcott and a former Jasper County 4-H member. After high school, he joined Laborers’ Local 274, where he has proudly served for 21 years. He began as a laborer in the field, later moved into partnership development work with LiUNA! Midwest Region of the laborers’ union, and now serves as a field representative for LiUNA Local 274 in Lafayette, Indiana. In that role, he advocates for working families on wages, training, dispatch, and apprenticeship opportunities. He also represents labor on the Region 4 Workforce Development Board and serves on the United Way of Greater Lafayette board. Craig is currently President of the Putnam County Fair Board, where he works to strengthen the fairgrounds as a community asset for youth, families, and local events. He is a Past Master of Temple Lodge 47, a former owner of Hog-N-It-All BBQ, and spent a decade coaching youth basketball for Greencastle Parks and Recreation. He has also volunteered with Celebrate 4 for three years and continues to support Greencastle Parks and Recreation and local public safety agencies as needed, including seasonal community outreach efforts with the fire and police departments. Craig and his wife, Tara, have been married since 2013 and are raising their two daughters, Emma and Elena, in Putnam County. The family has long ties to the area—Craig visited Raccoon Lake as a child, and Tara was born and raised here—making the decision to put down permanent roots a natural one. Craig’s community involvement is driven by a straightforward goal: to help make Putnam County an even better place for his children to grow up and for the next generation to thrive. With experience spanning skilled trades, workforce development, nonprofit boards, youth coaching, and local fairgrounds leadership, Craig offers a practical, hands-on perspective for District 4 and a focus on strengthening the community that has become his family’s home.
