As a progressive faith leader, small business owner, and community leader, I’m running for Congress to bring moral courage back to leadership and to fight for the dignity of every person in our state. We deserve more than a Congressperson who shows up for donors and party bosses, but disappears when working families are struggling to survive. A lifelong Tennessean, lawyer, public servant, educator, and proud mom of three. I’ve lived in Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville, and I know firsthand the beauty, the struggles, and the deep values that define every corner of this state. I’ve spent my life showing up for my community when it matters most—whether fighting for the most vulnerable as a public defender, advocating for living wages as a Memphis City Counselor, or championing healthcare access and fundamental freedoms as a leader in County government. I’m no stranger to tough fights and I have a record of winning. Now, I’m bringing that same fire to the Governor’s race—because Tennessee families deserve better.

Hay there! I operate a small farm with my family in Ten Mile. Before the farm, I worked in public service at the Small Business Administration and Habitat for Humanity, so I understand what it’s like to accomplish big goals on a small budget. Meeting with so many small business owners and farmers over the years has shown me that when people have what they need: healthcare, education, food on the table, and faith in a bright future, they can do whatever they set their minds to. I want a government that works to empower people. Let’s keep what works, and fix what doesn’t.
