Edgar Soto is a Marine Corps veteran, educator, and community leader running to flip the Arizona State Senate seat in District 17. A native Arizonan, Edgar has worked as an educator at many levels, including middle school and Pima Community College and worked with business leaders and politicians of both parties to help found the Southern Arizona Sports, Tourism, & Film Authority. Edgar is running to strengthen public schools, keep communities safe, and build an economy that works for Arizona families. Democrats can flip the Arizona Senate this cycle, and Edgar’s win in a seat that was decided by two points in 2024 will be a key part of that effort.
