Wally Perez-Simmons is an author, advocate, plastic surgery assistant and founder of The Future Self Foundation, a healing-centered organization focused on mental health awareness, youth advocacy, shelter and group home reform, prison reentry support and emotional wellness within underserved NYC communities. Through lived experiences with homelessness, trauma and the justice system, she advocates for stronger support systems, dignity-centered care and community healing.

Healing-centered reform for vulnerable NYC youth, families & communities.

Our goal is to advocate for stronger mental health support, safer living conditions and healing-centered reform within NYC shelters, ACS, group homes and community support systems impacting vulnerable youth, women and families. We aim to help create stronger mentorship, emotional wellness and reentry support programs while bringing awareness to the long-term effects of trauma, instability, homelessness, incarceration and lack of support within underserved communities.
