Born and raised in Southeast Michigan, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed rebuilt Detroit’s Health Department after bankruptcy, then led Wayne County’s Health, Human & Veterans Services Department, serving 1.8 million residents. In those roles, he secured free glasses for kids, removed lead from schools, expanded access to Narcan, took on corporate polluters, and launched a program to cancel up to $700 million in medical debt. A union member and University of Michigan alum, Abdul is running to build a government that works for regular Michiganders — not billionaires and corporations. He’s been endorsed by U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, Congressman Ro Khanna, and dozens of state and local elected officials.

Rashida Tlaib is the eldest of 14 children. where she learned the importance of hard work, honesty and commitment to community. Being big sister to 13 siblings helped her develop leadership qualities that make her responsible, caring and compassionate, and her family’s struggle to create a new life in Detroit inspired Rashida’s long-term commitment to public service and giving back to the community, one she shares today with her two sons, Adam and Yousif. With the belief that history is everyone’s story, not just that of the wealthy and privileged, Rashida Tlaib dedicates her life to ensure that the voice and concern of every person is heard and addressed. The neighborhood service center lives on as the Mary Turner Center for Advocacy and continues to serve thousands of the families she represented. Rashida has been the recipient of numerous awards, including being featured in PBS’ Makers Documentary on Women in Politics, Family Circle magazine’s 20 Most Influential Moms of 2016, and in New York Magazine’s list of Democratic leaders as the “next Obama.”

Congresswoman Lateefah Simon is a nationally recognized civil rights leader with more than three decades of experience at the intersection of movement building, government reform, public-private partnerships, and visionary institutional leadership.

Congresswoman Simon started her career at the Young Women's Freedom Center at 16, later becoming the Executive Director of the Center at just 19 years old. She built one of the country's most effective organizations serving young women and transgender youth impacted by incarceration, the underground street economy, and sexual violence. She won the MacArthur Genius Grant at age 26 for her work at the Young Women's Freedom Center. Congresswoman Simon later partnered with then-San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris to head the Back on Track program, served as Executive Director of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area, and President of the Akonadi Foundation.

In 2016, Congresswoman Simon was elected to the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Board of Directors and later President of the BART Board of Directors, becoming one of the only Black women in the nation to lead a major metropolitan transit agency. As BART Board President, she secured more than $3 billion in emergency funding to sustain transit operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, while also expanding accessibility, equity, and public safety programs across the region.

In 2024, Congresswoman Simon was elected to represent California's 12th Congressional District. Currently, she is one of the only members of Congress who is a single mother of a school-age child. Legally blind since birth, Congresswoman Simon also leads with a clarity shaped by lived experience and an agenda forged in the pursuit of justice, equity, and transformative change.

Dr Randy Villegas is the proud 31-year-old son of working-class Mexican immigrants who is using his PhD in Political Science to fight for Medicare for All, an end to endless wars, and getting money out of politics. He's an educator, family auto shop owner, school board Trustee and Democratic candidate for Congress in one of the most fippable seats in the entire country in California's Central Valley (CA-22).

In a moment of moral reckoning for our country and the world at large, Randy is unafraid to stand loudly and firmly in solidarity with the resilient people of Palestine against the genocide in Gaza and the war in Iran. As a school board member and professor, Randy immmediately signed a public ceasefire letter to the Biden White House in January 2024. Randy Villegas is endorsed by A New Policy and Track AIPAC.

Republican incumbent David Valadao broke his promise to not gut Medicaid which half a million people in the district rely on, and voters are furious. With polling even worse for Republicans than in 2018 and with the passing of Prop 50 improving the district for Democrats, Valadao has never been more vulnerable.

Randy's platform gives all voters something to vote for, not just against. He supports Medicare for All in a district where ⅔ of residents rely on Medicaid. He supports ending price gouging and monopolies that have caused our cost of living crisis at the grocery store, gas pump and pharmacy. He wants to ban Congressmembers from trading stocks and becoming lobbyists. All of these stances are hugely popular in the district and across the country, we right now need Democrats who will fight every day like our lives depend on it - because they do.

Randy's Democratic Majority for Israel-endorsed primary opponent, Jasmeet Bains, is the most conservative Democrat in California. She was the only Democrat in the California Assembly to vote against Prop 50 which fought back against Trump's Texas gerrymandering (it passed by +18 in the district). She rejected a bill to unmask ICE agents in CA. She even donated almost $1,000 to Republican Congressmember Vince Fong.

CA-22 should have been solidly Democratic decades ago. It is majority Democrat, the median age is just 30 years old, and it's the most Latino seat in the state - yet it has never had a Latino representative - Randy will be the first.

Randy has built exactly the broad coalition needed to bring voters out and permanently flip this seat. His endorsements include Dolores Huerta, Senator Bernie Sanders, Reps Ro Khanna, Pramila Jayapal and Maxwell Frost (among others), the Congressional Progressive and Hispanic Caucuses, UAW, National Nurses United, National Education Association, The Working Families Party, Jane Fonda’s Climate PAC, Leaders We Deserve and all four Democratic County Chairs in the district.

Even though Randy is from a working class background in one of the poorest districts in the country, he is outraising his establishment opponent, bringing in over $1.4 million from over 19,000 individuals at an average donation of just $51, without a dime from corporate PACs.

Voters will stay home unless we have a candidate who will fight relentlessly for real, material changes in their lives. That means having a concrete, positive vision and fighting for the country and Democratic Party we want and deserve.

Donate what you can, and let's win the country we deserve!

My dedication to addressing critical issues is unwavering – from tackling gun violence in our communities to guaranteeing equitable healthcare and mental healthcare access. These are not just policy goals; they are moral imperatives, deeply ingrained in who we are as a community.

I intend to continue what I’ve always done – engaging with our communities directly. From Hilo to Hanalei and everywhere in between, each conversation, each shared story, enriches our collective mission. Your aspirations, your challenges, your dreams – they are what drives me every day.

Raised in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood, Congressman Jackson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business. Congressman Jamie Raskin proudly represents Maryland’s 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was sworn into his fifth Term at the start of the 119th Congress on January 3, 2025.

Jamie has represented Maryland’s 8th since he ran for Congress in 2016 and prevailed in what was then the most expensive House primary election in American history. Before taking office in January of 2017, he had been a professor of constitutional law and the First Amendment for a quarter-century at American University’s Washington College of Law, where he authored several books and launched the acclaimed Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. In 2006, he ran for State Senate in District 20 (Silver Spring and Takoma Park) and defeated a 32-year incumbent by a 2-1 margin, telling voters, “It’s not my ambition to be in the political center, it’s my ambition to be in the moral center—and to bring the political center to us.”

In three terms in the State Senate, he rose to become Majority Whip and became famous for building bipartisan coalitions and leading complex floor fights to pass major legislation, including marriage equality, abolition of the death penalty, restoration of voting rights to former prisoners, tough anti-drunk driving laws, the first National Popular Vote measure in America, a medical marijuana program, and the world’s first Benefit Corporation law. He was recognized by the Maryland Gazette of Politics and Business as one of the state’s top ten “Most Effective Legislators” and by the Silver Spring Voice as “Montgomery County’s Most Responsive Elected Official.”

Elected to Congress the same night in November 2016 that Donald Trump won the presidency, Jamie went to work immediately to rally the Democrats locally and nationally and—as a key Member of the House Judiciary Committee, Oversight and Reform Committee, Rules Committee and Administration Committee—to oppose the lawlessness, corruption and extremism of the Trump Administration.

When Democrats recaptured the House majority in 2018, Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings appointed Jamie Chair of the Oversight Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, a position from which he proceeded to zealously defend voting rights, free speech, the rights of labor and working people, and reproductive freedom and the rights of women. Jamie was also named to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus and pressed hard for a nationwide strategy to crush the virus, the strategy never offered by the Trump administration.

In the aftermath of January 6, 2021, when Donald Trump incited a violent insurrection against the Constitution and attempted a political coup to block the counting of electoral college votes, Jamie drafted an impeachment article against Trump with his colleagues Ted Lieu, Joe Neguse, and David Cicilline. After the House voted to impeach Trump by 232-197 for trying to seize the presidency and prevent the peaceful transfer of power, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi asked Jamie to become the lead impeachment manager in Trump’s second Senate impeachment trial. That week-long trial, which galvanized the nation and the world, resulted in a 57-43 vote against Trump—the most sweeping bipartisan vote to convict an impeached president in American history. After the trial, Speaker Pelosi named Jamie a member of the new Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol which produced a devastating narrative report and video account of Donald Trump’s plans to overthrow the constitutional order and seize the presidency, which he had lost in 2020 by more than 7 million votes, 306-232 in the Electoral College.

Jamie was chosen by his Democratic colleagues in the 118th Congress to lead the Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability. In that capacity he organized his extraordinary colleagues to debunk and demolish the GOP’s fraudulent and hapless “impeachment drive” against President Joe Biden, which had been the Republicans’ top priority for the 118th Congress.

As Democrats prepared for the 119th Congress, Jamie chose to leave his secure position as Ranking Member on the House Oversight Committee to run for Ranking Member on the House Judiciary Committee. He was elected unanimously by the House Democratic Caucus. A former state assistant attorney general and editor of the Harvard Law Review, Jamie said he would lead the Democrats in rebuffing the MAGA assault on the Constitution and the Supreme Court, the Department of Justice, voting rights, birthright citizenship and immigrant rights and the reproductive freedoms of American women.

Jamie is Vice-Chair of Organizing for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the founder and leader of Democracy Summer, the Democrats’ acclaimed nationwide program which has engaged thousands of young people in training for political activism and “leadership for strong democracy and freedom.”

As a law professor and political leader, Jamie has written dozens of essays and several notable books, including We the Students: Supreme Court Cases for and about America’s Students and Overruling Democracy: The Supreme Court vs. the American People, a Washington Post Bestseller. His most recent book, Unthinkable: Trauma, Truth, and the Trials of American Democracy addressed the catastrophic loss of Jamie and Sarah’s son Tommy, the shocking events of January 6, 2021, and Donald Trump’s second Senate impeachment trial for inciting insurrection. This book received nationwide critical and popular acclaim, topping several bestseller lists including the New York Times and the Washington Post. Harvard Law Professor Larry Tribe called it a “masterpiece.”

Jamie graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review and where he met his wife Sarah, who is a law professor at Duke and a former Maryland state banking commissioner and Deputy Secretary of the United States Treasury. They are the parents of three children, Hannah Grace, Thomas Bloom (1995–2020), and Tabitha Claire and a granddaughter. They live in Takoma Park with their dogs Toby and Potter.

Jim McGovern has earned a national reputation as a tireless advocate for his district and as a champion for food security, human rights, campaign finance reform, social justice and peace. Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, Jim is the son of two successful small business owners, Walter and Mindy. Both his sisters are teachers in the Worcester Public Schools. Jim is married to Lisa Murray McGovern and they have a son, Patrick and a daughter, Molly.

Since his first election to Congress in 1996, Jim has consistently delivered millions of dollars for jobs, vital local and regional projects, small businesses, public safety, regional and mass transportation projects, and affordable housing throughout his district and Massachusetts. Currently, Jim serves as the ranking member of the powerful House Rules Committee, and a member of the House Agriculture Committee. In those roles, Jim has secured millions of dollars in federal grants and assistance for Massachusetts. Jim is also co-chair of both the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission and the House Hunger Caucus.

Before his election to Congress, Jim spent 14 years working as a senior aide for the late U.S. Representative John Joseph Moakley (D-South Boston). In 1989, Moakley tapped Jim to lead the investigation into the murders of six Jesuit priests, their housekeeper and her daughter. The investigation ultimately led to a seminal change in U.S. foreign policy towards El Salvador when it determined that the Salvadoran military was implicated in the murders. That landmark determination led to future military aid from the U.S. being conditioned on an improved human rights record. Jim’s time in El Salvador strengthened his personal and political beliefs.

In Congress, Jim has authored important legislation to increase Pell Grant funding to allow more students access to higher education; to provide funds to preserve open space in urban and suburban communities; and to give tax credits to employers who pay the salaries of their employees who are called up to active duty in the Guard and Reserves.

A strong proponent of healthcare reform, his legislative efforts included reducing the cost of home health care, giving patients the dignity to be cared for in their own homes with the help of medical professionals.

Jim voted against the initial authorization of force in Iraq in 2002 and has been among the most prominent Congressional voices on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Jim introduced a bipartisan, bicameral bill calling for a flexible timetable for withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan as a matter of national security and fiscal responsibility.

Jim has also taken a leadership role in the fight against hunger at home and abroad, successfully expanding the McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program, which helps alleviate child hunger and poverty by providing nutritious meals to children in schools in the world’s poorest countries. Every year, Jim walks 43 miles throughout the Pioneer Valley to raise awareness of hunger in our community and to raise funds for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.

Jim is one of the leading voices in Congress fighting to overturn Citizens United, and has become one of the main advocates in the fight against corporate personhood.
