Fla is not currently, but desperately needs to be prepared for catastrophic losses and other emergencies

This sounds like it helps farmers but it really just give major agribusiness actors a ways to get out of paying their share

Our infrastructure depends on the property taxes paid. Homestead exemptions were intended to assist home owners in their actual day to day homes. Corporations and investors should not get the benefit of rent and property value increases without paying back into the community. Our roads, schools, libraries, emergency services, etc depend on this
