California General Election
U.S. House California District 11

I strongly believe Scott Wiener will be a fantastic congressperson. He has a track record that shows he not only fights for progressive values, but also actually gets things done. He's accomplished so much for SF and California, and I can't wait to see what he does at the federal level.
California Governor
California Lieutenant Governor
California Attorney General
California Controller

She's been doing a solid job and is a badass woman. I've heard her speak at multiple Emerge CA events. Inspirational.
California Treasurer
California Insurance Commissioner

Folks who pay attention to this wonky position and care about climate strongly support Ben Allen. Patrick Wolff would be a close second for me. This role needs a practical thinker who understands the complexities of the insurance market and the impacts that climate change (e.g., wildfires and more) are already having on our home state.
Measure A: Charter Changes Affecting Various City Departments and Commissions
This fixes some very old, inaccurate, and rigid stuff baked into our charter. The Board of Supervisors was thoughtful about what to include, and I think this covers a lot of needed fixes.
Measure C: Contributions to the Housing Fund
I don't know anyone against this. Yes please to more housing.
Measure D: Changes to Ballot Measure Process
I get why grassroots orgs have some concerns about this one, but ultimately I think more consensus building before rushing to the ballot will help voters more effectively weigh in on well-thought-out measures.
Measure E: City Administrator's Authority and Changes to City Contracting
Contracting with the city is currently a mess. I think this will help SF save time on money to get needed city projects done faster and more consistently.
Measure F: Changes to Executive Branch Management
Holding departments and commissions accountable is hard. This helps clarify it with clear lines of responsibility.
