Sway is a powerful new network for people to organize around shared views. Sway enables local organizers to gain influence for local causes by engaging followers. These groups will connect in an organic network that informs how people vote and impacts election outcomes.
Sway is for anyone who has a passion for a cause or who wants to see a change in the world. To be a leader on Sway, you must be 13 years of age or older. Anyone can be a supporter on Sway, but verified supporters must be registered to vote. If you're eligible and not registered, please do so here.

Sway covers a range of topics, from local to global. The most potent topics on Sway have a connection, either established or newfound, to elected representation.
Anyone globally can be a leader or supporter. Verified supporters must be eligible to vote in the US. International expansion is coming soon.
Nonprofit leaders, including leaders of 501(c)(3) organizations, may be subject to special rules that could be implicated by engaging in political activity using Sway. Before using Sway, nonprofit leaders are encouraged to seek appropriate legal advice from a licensed attorney who can evaluate the nonprofit leader's particular facts and circumstances.
Yes, candidates can use Sway — and recommend that their supporters vote for them on their ballot.
A Sway Score is a measure of political influence. It represents the number of verified supporters who can vote on the office or ballot measure recommendations from a leader.
No, using Sway does not constitute lobbying. It's a network that allows people to organize around shared views. Because Sway can be used to show how many people — and importantly, voters — care about a topic, support aggregated on Sway is an important tool for political advocacy.
No, your vote is always your choice. You have total control. Additionally, no one will ever know how you vote.
Sway is a for-profit startup funded by Neo and cofounder, Ali Partovi.
Sway does not currently make money — and has no plans to generate revenue anytime soon. Sway's sole priority will be to drive adoption and reach a critical mass of voters.
