Initiative 1: Parental Rights Relating To Children In Public School
The so-called
"Parents' Bill of Rights" threatens student privacy and protections. It could expose sensitive mental health records, give abusive parents access to private information and out LGBTQ+ students before they're ready. For kids without safe, supportive homes, the consequences could be devastating. Kids deserve trusted adults they can turn to without fear.
Initiative 638: Sex Verification Requirements for Female School Sports Initiative
This initiative would ban transgender girls from girls sports teams and require invasive sex verification procedures for
ALL girls who want to play. Sports should be about belonging, friendship and teamwork.
