ISBA:
Judge Goldish was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1997. After a career as a prosecutor, she was elected to the circuit court in 2014 and retained in 2020. Since 2015, she has been assigned to Domestic Relations. She has been an adjunct professor, taught, written and spoken on legal topics around the state and served on Illinois Supreme Court Committees. She is president of the Illinois Jewish Judges Association, and a past president of the Decalogue Society and the North Suburban Bar Association, and a board member of the Illinois Judges Association. She has been the recipient of many awards, including the Building Bridges Award in 2021 from the Arab American Bar Association and the Decalogue Society; the Judge of the Year Award from the North Suburban Bar Association; and the Chicago Bar Association Vanguard Award in 2021, nominated by the Decalogue Society.
Attorneys highly praised her legal knowledge, patience, diligence, and fairness. ISBA recommends Judge Megan Elizabeth Goldish be retained to the Circuit Court of Cook County.
