Issue 29: Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal)

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Geneva
Township (excluding the City of Geneva and
Village of Geneva on the Lake) for the purpose
of general construction, reconstruction,
resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads and
bridges, that the county auditor estimates will
collect $62,572 annually, at a rate not
exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value,
which amounts to $23 for each $100,000 of the
county auditor's market value, for 5 years,
commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year
2028.
