Proposition 429: Peoria Unified School District, Arizona, Permit Sale, Lease, or Exchange of District Property Measure

Shall the Governing Board of Peoria Unified School District No. 11 of Maricopa County, Arizona, be authorized to sell, lease or exchange the following described parcel of real property, or any portion thereof, and use all or a portion of any such proceeds of any such sale, lease or exchange to purchase school sites and/or to construct, improve, equip and furnish school buildings, including technology, to purchase student transportation vehicles and/or any other permitted capital expenditure? The real property is described as follows:

Parcel A: Site referred to as the District Office located at 6330 W. Thunderbird Road, Glendale, Arizona 85306 (approximately 5.12 acres).

That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter (SE1/4 SE1/4SW4) of Section Seven (7), Township Three (3) North, Range Two (2) East, Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Maricopa County Arizona, described as follows:

BEGINNING at the South quarter (S4) corner of said Section Seven (7);

THENCE Northerly along the East line of said Southwest quarter (SW1/4) of Section Seven (7), a distance of 635’ to a point;

THENCE Westerly along the North line of a ditchbank and line of trees a distance of 399.33’ to a point;

THENCE Southerly on a direct line 641.75’ to a point which lies on the South line of said Section Seven (7), And Westerly 413.65’ from the South quarter (S4) corner thereof;

THENCE South 00 degrees 05 minutes 55 seconds West, along the West line of the Southeast quarter of said Section 8, a distance of 435.00 feet to its intersection with the centerline of Evans Drive, as shown on the plat of DEERVIEW UNIT SIXTEEN, per map recorded in Book 152, Page 1 of Maps, Maricopa County Records, and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
