Issue 8: Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal)

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Jefferson County for the purpose of operation of community programs and services authorized by county board of developmental disabilities,
for the acquisition, construction, renovation, financing, maintenance, and operation of developmental disabilities facilities, or for both of such purposes that the county auditor
estimates will collect $2,141,041 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.7 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $19 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 10 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
