Proposition A: $27.576M School Building Bonds

THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of not to exceed $27,576,000 of Leon Independent School District School Building Bonds for the purposes of designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, updating, acquiring, and equipping school facilities, with preference on projects related to safety and security; playgrounds; career, agriculture, and technical education programs; a multipurpose facility to include space for UIL extracurricular activities, including band and fine arts; projects related to the gymnasium plus the baseball, softball, and tennis facilities; and the purchase of school buses, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements.
