Shelby Richardson is an Inglewood native, community organizer, and education and youth advocate, endorsed by the Inglewood Teachers Association and Indivisible South Bay. She holds degrees in economics and works in the nonprofit sector, with experience in youth organizing, legislative and policy advocacy, community engagement, and collaboration with organized labor and teacher unions. Richardson brings a grassroots organizing approach focused on building community agency and expanding opportunities for students, families, educators, and residents to shape the policies that affect them. This race is about a fresh grassroots organizer versus a corporate leadership, and the choice is obvious - we recommend you vote for Shelby Richardson for Area 2.
