Dr. Algarin came to Arizona in 2022 with a mission to build a healthier, more equitable state through research, service, and community partnerships. His work spans improving access to care, developing community-informed health programs, and addressing inequities in infectious diseases such as HIV. He is running for this office to advance bold, evidence-based, community-driven solutions that make health systems more equitable, cost-effective, and accessible for all residents. Dr. Algarin is an agnostic.
