What a yes vote means
A "yes" vote supports establishing Rosemead as a charter city which would increase authority over city affairs, rules and responsibilities for city council members and city officials, city budget, and would give "the City Council authority to adopt an ordinance giving veterans and disabled veterans preference in awarding contracts."
