Lorenzo Santos
DemocraticI live in the 1st CD and have been thrilled to watch more and more step up to the plate in this district and call out Bryan Steil for turning his back on the people of this district. There are a few great candidates in the democratic primary but I'm ultimately going to recommend Lorenzo Santos here as I feel he has great experience and the right perspective to go up against Steil and hold his feet to the fire in a really effective way, which I think is invaluable in this moment.

Rebecca Cooke
DemocraticThis race has a lot of attention on it both for having one of the worst and most vulnerable incumbents that needs to take a hike, but also for having a pretty spirited dem primary (which seems to be par for the course in the third!) I have known Rebecca Cooke since she first ran here and I can assure you that she is an incredibly smart and caring candidate who lives and breathes this district. I understand and want to acknowledge the campaign that Berge has run because I think it's been fantastic and has made this race better, which is what I believe primaries are for. Ultimately, I believe Cooke has the best chance of beating Derrick Van Orden especially when you consider how close she was last time (outperforming Kamala and Senator Baldwin) and I trust her to represent the people of western Wisconsin with their shared values in Washington. I know that if we come together and rally around her, we can get this one over the finish line.
