I strongly recommend that voters stay up to date on the latest polling on this race to unite behind whichever candidate is in the lead (its been Hilton for the longest time) and has the best chance to make it into the runoff. I love both candidates but I don't want to risk Republicans splitting the votes - thus allowing two Democrats to advance into the runoff. So I am saying Hilton but if you don't click with Hilton, then by all means vote Bianco. Like I said i love them both!

Chad Bianco also strong but Hilton has better policy plans and experience; do not dilute conservative vote beyond these two

HILTON is the “COMMON SENSE” Governor we DESPERATELY need to lead CA. It’s past due time for a change. Click Hilton’s site below for his CA Plan.
Our state has been ruined by the Democrat stronghold on leadership, including their insatiable “TAX & SPEND”, addiction, which is why so many are leaving. CA has the highest income tax rate in the nation. The highest statewide sales tax rate. The highest gas tax. Highest everything! Now, we are finding, we likely have the highest in Gov FRAUD & WASTE, too. A vote for Hilton’s opponent, Xavier Becerra would just be more of the same.

Hilton is Conservative on most issues, articulate, capable, team-oriented, and has specific policy plans. He is running with a terrific team, including Gloria Romero (for Lt. Gov), the amazing Michael Gates (for AG), Herb Morgan (for Controller), Jennifer Hawks (for Treasurer), Don Wagner (for Secretary of State), and Sonja Shaw (for CA Supt of Schools.
After meeting with/listening to Californians in every county in the state, Steve's team developed practical policies so that if/when elected, they can hit the ground running - working synergistically and efficiently on important issues. Specifics of Steve's Plans & Policies can be seen HERE.
The Korea Daily 2026 California Election Endorsements

Republican Steve Hilton is running against Democrat Xavier Becerra for governor of California. Hilton was born in the United Kingdom, moved to California in 2012 and became a U.S. citizen in 2021. In an earlier exclusive interview with The Korea Daily, he emphasized his own immigrant experience and said he wanted Korean Americans to have greater opportunities in California. Hilton finished second in the June primary with 24.7% of the statewide vote, while Becerra finished first with 28.1%, a difference of about 3.4 percentage points. Official state results confirm those totals. The governor’s race framed around questions of taxes, regulation, government spending, housing and California’s high cost of living. Hilton’s economic platform includes eliminating California state income tax for residents earning less than $100,000 annually and establishing a 7.5% flat rate for income above that threshold. He has also set a goal of reducing gasoline prices to approximately $3 per gallon, arguing that state climate mandates and regulations contribute to California’s high fuel costs. His housing proposals call for easing regulations that he says restrict construction and increase costs. He has also proposed limiting annual vehicle registration fees to $73. His campaign materials confirm the under-$100,000 tax exemption, 7.5% flat tax and $3 gasoline goal. The Korea Daily also contrasted Hilton’s outsider and reform-oriented message with Becerra’s long record in elected and appointed government positions, including service in the federal Cabinet.

Small Business Owner - Spoke at CRA 2/2026 and HJTA, Trump, Charlie Kirk, Rep. Kevin Kiley, Vivek Ramaswamy, CRA endorsed - Commentator and Author - Hilton kicked off campaign in April 2025. Hilton wants practical solutions to rebuild a “ladder of opportunity,” so every Californian can have a great job and a great home — though many are ideas that the progressive Legislature is unlikely to support. A former Fox News host and, back when a UK citizen, policy advisor to former British Prime Minister David Cameron. [The May 2026 blow-up about the Epstein files was an inquiry by an underling during Steve’s time in the UK asking for contact with Woody Allen (which never panned out). This is guilt by association since no direct association with Epstein existed. The real value of Hilton as Governor is the VETO pen for outrageous bills written by the progressive majority legislature. - HB]

Both Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco are good men and would make a great Governor. However, there is a risk of a shut out if Republicans split their votes - thus allowing two Democrats to advance into the runoff. While Reform California is not endorsing one candidate over the other, we strongly recommend that voters review the latest polling on this race to unite behind whichever candidate is in the lead and has the best chance to make it into the runoff.
