Judge Dickler was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2005. After a career as a prosecutor, she was elected to the circuit court in 2020. She is currently assigned to the Probate Division, Minor Guardianship after initial assignments in Traffic and First Municipal. She sits on the Board of the Jewish Judges Association; is a member of the Illinois Judges Association and other bar associations and has been a speaker on legal topics. She is also an active member of various community groups.
Attorneys described her as highly knowledgeable, patient with pro se litigants, and thoroughly prepared on complex matters. ISBA recommends Judge Jamie Guerra Dickler be retained to the Circuit Court of Cook County.
