Judge Ryan was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2000; she was elected in 2008. She is currently Presiding Judge in the Fourth Municipal District (Maywood), where she has been since 2010. She hears misdemeanor, Mental Health and Veterans calls, which are not adversarial, but focus or treatment alternatives.
Judge Ryan is knowledgeable in her field, fair to everyone, especially good with pro se litigants. She is punctual, diligent and professional. ISBA recommends Judge Kristyna Colleen Ryan be retained to the Circuit Court of Cook County.
